Sow and Plant
In frost areas sow early spring under cover. Plant out early summer. In frost free areas, sow directly or transplant in spring.
Our Garden Planning Tool can produce a personalised calendar of when to sow, plant and harvest for your area.
|
Notes
Unless using a self-blanching type, will need to be planted in trenches, then tubes wrapped round in mid summer and/or earthed up with soil. Keep moist during dry weather.
|
Harvesting
Can cut frequently if required. In any case harvest before the first frost in autumn.
