Garden Plans > 2012: Final 3 Sisters

About this Garden Plan

Golden Gaits Garden - 3 Sisters Here is our "three sisters" patch of corn, beans and squash for the 2012 season. The soil was created with the "lasagna gardening" method--layers of soil, manure, kitchen scraps, garden scraps were left out a few months to create nice, rich garden soil. Corn was planted in trenches about 3" deep, which will be filled in as it grows to give it more support in our high wind area.
